KayaSuddhi Wellness ("KayaSuddhi", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit kayasuddhi.in, place an order, sign up for our newsletter, or interact with us in any other way.
This policy is drafted to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India and applicable consumer protection rules.

2. What personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to serve you well:
Account & order data - Name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses - Order history, payment method (we do not store full card details; payments are processed by our payment gateway)
Communication data - Email and WhatsApp messages you send us, customer support tickets, product reviews
Marketing data (only with your consent) - Email and SMS subscription preferences - Marketing engagement data (opens, clicks, page visits)
Technical & analytics data - Device, browser, IP address, pages visited, referring URL, time on page - Collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)
Health-related preferences (only if you provide them) - Dosha quiz responses, dietary preferences, wellness concerns — only if you choose to fill these in

4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with trusted partners who help us run our business, and only to the extent necessary:
- Shopify (e-commerce platform — stores order and customer data)
- Razorpay / PayU (payment processing)
- Shiprocket / Delhivery (order fulfilment and delivery)
- Klaviyo / Mailchimp (email marketing, only if you've opted in)
- Wati / Interakt (WhatsApp communication)
- Google, Meta (analytics and advertising, with appropriate consent)
- Government or regulatory authorities when required by law
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
5. International data transfers
Some of our service providers (Shopify, Klaviyo, Google) process data outside India. We ensure these transfers comply with the DPDP Act 2023 and use providers with appropriate data protection commitments.

We delete or anonymise data once the retention period ends.
7. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023
As a Data Principal under Indian law, you have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Grievance redressal — escalate any concern to our Grievance Officer (Section 11)

8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
- Essential cookies — required for the website to function (cart, login, checkout). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use our site (Google Analytics 4).
- Marketing cookies — used by advertising partners (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) to show you relevant ads.
You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.
9. Children's data
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS), secure password hashing, and regular security audits. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
